District Incident Challenge

Unfortunately only 2 teams entered this years competition, however the good news is that both will be able to go forward to represent Oldham in the County competition.

The event started at Binn Green car park with a kit and uniform inspection, this was followed by a flag pole raising activity and finally the teams had to calculate how long it would take them the walk to the next base, (approx 1.75 km away).

The actual time taken was compared to their estimate and then follwed with another 4 activities. These included First Aid, semaphore signalling, compass bearings, and a hypothermia excercise.

Both teams did very well and the final marks were very close, but in the end 128th St Johns just beat 115th Westwood Moravians.
