This is a growing database of route plans for walks in the UK, though at present most are in the Yorkshire area. If you have details of a walk suitable for Scouts there is a facility for you to submit the details.

Escouts Route Hiker

This free web based program is designed to aid in the creation of route cards for hikers of any type, being in Scouting, Guiding, DofE or general use. It allows you to calculate the fields that normally would take a long time to calculate by hand. You can create multiple route cards which can be saved and then edited in the future, as well as having printer friendly versions for use on hikes.
