Explorer Scout Activities in 2011

Congratulations to ...

... Tyler Goodyer who received his Chief Scout Gold Award from the County Commissioner on behalf of the Chief Scout at a county presentation evening. (left to right - Paul Raine, ACC (Scouts), Tyler Goodyer, John Woolley (County Commissioner))

To earn the Gold Award Scouts have to gain eight Challenge Awards although many scouts gain all nine.

Thus the Scouts have to show and develop their expertise in Scouting and leadership skills and their commitment to the scout law and promise and their community.

Well done to Tyler for all the hard work he has put in to gain this special award.
