What is Scouting?
Scouting is for Boys and Girls between the age of 6 and
25 and is split up into 5 Sections.
Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are members of a Scout Group
which is usually attached to a Church.
Explorer Scouts are members of Units usually District based and
attract teenagers from different Scout Groups.
Units may specialise in a particular type of activity so teenagers can
be a member of more than one Unit.
Any Explorer Scout who is also a Young Leader will also be a member of
the Young Leader Unit.
The Scout Network is usually County based and caters for the 18
- 25 age group providing them with suitable activities.
